About this dive site

This dive site features the Pesquero, a 60-meter long shipwreck that sank in 1980. The wreck rests approximately 300 meters from Playa Paraná and sits on an arcillious seabed. It's partially submerged, with portions of the hull visible during low tide along its starboard side and port bow. The wreck is covered in marine life including algae, anemones, corals, various mollusks like cholgas, mejillones, and mejillines, as well as crustaceans such as sea urchins, crabs, and spider crabs. Inside the vessel, you can find shelter for mero groupers and nocturnal octopuses. For optimal visibility and a more complete underwater experience, it is recommended to dive with an outgoing tide.
