This dive site, Curtin Artificial Reef, holds the distinction of being Australia's oldest artificial reef specifically designed and created for divers. For freedivers, the average depth of 10 meters, with a maximum of 21 meters, provides excellent opportunities for breath-hold exploration. The site is generally enjoyable year-round, with Queensland's best diving conditions often experienced from May to October.
