Slot Cave

This dive site offers a unique underwater experience. It’s accessible with northerly winds and minimal swell, making it suitable for divers comfortable in these conditions. The primary attraction is a slot cave that functions more like a cavern, providing light access throughout its length. The bottom of the cave descends gradually to approximately 12-14 meters, eventually returning to the surface. Inside the entrance, you’ll find vibrant corals and diverse macro life inhabiting the cracks – occasionally encountering wobbegongs resting on the sandy seabed. During summer months, visibility within the cave often reaches remarkable clarity, even when the surrounding water has average visibility. Following an exit from the cave, keep the rock wall on your left; this will lead you to a path that extends deeper into the area, revealing sponge and coral gardens teeming with macro invertebrates. Alternatively, continue along the rock wall towards Double Decker Cave. This site can be explored using anchored systems or live-aboard drop-offs.
