About this dive site
This dive site is located near Vienna, Austria, approximately 50 kilometers south of the capital. It’s situated on the border with Lower Austria in the Burgenland region. The Neufelder See was created artificially and isn't a naturally formed lake. Diving conditions can vary significantly. Visibility underwater ranges from four to ten meters, occasionally dropping to near zero due to factors like weather, visitor numbers, and potential contact with the lake bottom by divers. Even on sunny days, visibility may be limited to 20 meters from the shore. The lake is a popular recreational area, which can affect underwater conditions.
