This dive site is the municipal swimming pool of Tienen, offering a controlled environment for dive training and practice. The largest pool is 25 meters long and eight lanes wide, providing ample space for skill development. There is no natural history or complex underwater navigation; it is a standard, man-made swimming facility.
As a swimming pool, there are no marine animals or plants to be observed. The environment is sterile and designed purely for recreational swimming and aquatic sports.
The best time to visit is during the pool's operating hours for training purposes. Divers can practice buoyancy, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and other fundamental skills without environmental distractions. It's an excellent location for beginners to gain confidence and for certified divers to refresh their skills.
