Bachelor’s Beach (Beyond the Corals House Reef)

Bachelor’s Beach offers a rewarding diving experience for all skill levels, particularly well-suited for night dives. The site provides easy access via a staircase and some rocks leading to a sandy beach, culminating in a sloping bottom featuring a diverse array of hard and soft corals. A yellow mooring buoy marks the location approximately 70 meters from shore, anchored at a depth of 6 meters where the reef begins. Divers can explore either north or south from the buoy. South of the mooring buoy lies the Beyond The Corals’ coral nursery, a unique habitat consisting of five staghorn and elkhorn coral fragments – a fascinating area for observation. This nursery is carefully managed by Reef Renewal divers, with restricted access to ensure its preservation. The seabed around the mooring buoy consists of sandy and rubble areas leading up to the reef.
