This dive site, Nukove (7), is a less visited gem located on the island of Bonaire. Divers can enjoy a pristine coral reef, especially along the beginning of a distinctive drop-off. Navigation is straightforward, typically following the reef structure and exploring the drop-off, which serves as a hunting ground for larger marine life.
The site boasts typical Caribbean marine life. Divers can regularly encounter nurse sharks and reef sharks, particularly near the drop-off. Possible sightings include eagle rays, stingrays, and an abundance of fish species such as snapper, angelfish, grunts, and parrotfish.
Nukove is suitable for diving year-round, with consistently good conditions typical of Bonaire. Its less visited nature ensures a serene diving experience with undisturbed marine ecosystems. Both scuba divers and freedivers will appreciate the vibrant coral and diverse animal encounters, making it an excellent spot for underwater photography, particularly wide-angle shots of the reef and larger pelagics.
