About this dive site

This dive site is located on the south coast of Bonaire and offers a beautiful underwater experience. It’s situated near Atlantis, a kite surfing area marked by buoys. Divers are advised to visit during the morning or late afternoon, taking extra caution when kite surfers are present in the vicinity. Sending an ascent marker buoy (DSMB) is strongly recommended before ascending. The site begins with a shallow rock plateau covered in fire coral, leading to a sandy bottom and ultimately connecting to a vibrant reef system. To fully appreciate this area, head north/right along the healthy sloping reef, which features abundant hard and soft corals, including a significant population of gorgonians. This dive offers opportunities at various depths and attracts a diverse range of marine life. It's easily accessible via a sandy beach and the entry point is located at a large rock on the shoreline.
