This dive site, known as Small Wall (25), gets its name from a modest wall formation that spans from approximately 12 to 24 meters in depth, situated around 25 meters from the coast. It's a remarkably colorful location, making it a favorite among underwater photographers. Due to access restrictions from private property, the site is exclusively accessible by boat.
Divers can expect to encounter a vibrant array of typical Caribbean marine life. Common sightings include nurse sharks and reef sharks, with possibilities of spotting majestic eagle rays and various stingrays. The reef teems with diverse fish species such as snapper, angelfish, grunts, and parrotfish, all contributing to the site's rich biodiversity.
Bonaire offers excellent diving conditions year-round, making any time a good time to visit Small Wall. Photographers will particularly appreciate the site's vivid colors and abundant macro and wide-angle opportunities. Freedivers and snorkelers can enjoy the shallower reef sections before the wall drop-off, making this site enjoyable for a range of aquatic enthusiasts.
