About this dive site

This dive site, Tori’s Reef, offers a beautiful and accessible experience for divers. It’s located near the second and southernmost red and white bridge spanning drainage channels from salt ponds. Access is gained via an outflow channel with flat rocks – be mindful of open outflow doors. The area features a large sand patch approximately 70 meters from shore, frequently hosting turtles, spotted eagle rays, spotted trunkfish, and flounders.

The dive site presents varied terrain, transitioning between sandy channels and reef formations. Initially, the slope descends gradually from 6 to 12 meters before dropping sharply northwards. Expect a healthy coral ecosystem with both hard and soft corals, alongside vibrant schools of brown chromis. The shallows just beyond the mooring buoy are particularly notable for their abundance of soft coral. Depth ranges up to approximately 18 meters.
