About this dive site

This dive site features the Ho Mei III, a ship that, after its moorings loosened, drifted with the ebb tide and sank years ago. It was later discovered resting upright between 33 and 39 meters deep, making navigation an exploration of its structure. The wreck presents a unique historical and underwater landscape for experienced divers.

The wreck attracts abundant marine life. Divers can expect to encounter large schools of sardines, horse mackerel, and bream. Barracudas are also commonly sighted. For those looking closer, various reef animals like morays and sole can be found around the ship's structure.

This dive site is strictly for experienced divers due to its depth and potential currents. While no specific best time to visit is mentioned, wreck diving generally benefits from calm seas and good visibility. Freedivers with advanced skills may also find this site suitable for deep breath-hold exploration of the upper parts of the wreck, though caution is advised.
