About this dive site

This dive site is located at the Panjiakou Reservoir in Hebei Province, China. It’s a unique diving experience centered around a section of the Great Wall that was submerged during the reservoir's construction, now resembling a sleeping dragon underwater. The site is easily accessible from Beijing, approximately a three-hour drive away. The area has been actively promoted for diving since 2012 by @北京车伴必威, and in 2016 they established a dedicated dive center to cater to international divers. This facility operates with professional standards, earning them considerable recognition among its clientele. Visibility is excellent due to the still waters of the reservoir, making it ideal for exploring this historical landmark. Although specific depths aren't explicitly stated, dives typically range from shallow to moderate depths suitable for a variety of experience levels. Due to the location's history and unique environment, there are no known marine animals inhabiting the area.
