About this dive site

This dive site is located off the coast of a small, remote island. Historically, it was a popular fishing spot, but now it’s known for its unique underwater landscape shaped by volcanic activity and strong currents. The seabed descends gradually to approximately 27 meters, creating a diverse environment. Visibility typically ranges from 10 to 15 meters, though can be reduced during periods of increased turbidity. Currents are consistently strong, making this dive suitable only for experienced divers comfortable with challenging conditions. There is a prominent rock formation at around 20 meters that provides shelter and attracts various marine life. Common sightings include colorful reef fish, groupers, sea turtles, and occasionally larger pelagic species like sharks and dolphins. Due to the currents and depth, it's recommended to plan dives carefully and be prepared for potentially challenging conditions. The best time to visit is during the late spring and early summer months when currents are somewhat less intense.
