About this dive site
This dive site is located near the port of Santa Marta, and it’s a fascinating wreck dive. Years ago, a small ship was intentionally broken up and sunk to create an artificial reef. Diving begins at approximately 2 meters deep, offering an easy entry point for most divers. The area then extends further out to about 6 meters, where you can explore the surrounding reef. Finally, the last portion of the wreck lies between 14 and 16 meters. A round trip is typically made along this route. The difficulty level is considered low, suitable for divers with minimal experience (requiring a basic dive certification). Maximum depth reached during the dive is 18 meters. Visibility can vary.
