About this dive site

This dive site, named after Costa Rica’s famous drink Cacique, is a shallow corner location offering excellent conditions for introductory dives. The seabed consists primarily of rocks with a flat sandy bottom providing a stable base. It's particularly well-suited for beginners and those seeking gentle exploration. A wide variety of marine life can be found here, including graceful hawksbill turtles, impressive white tip reef sharks patrolling the area, scurrying lobsters hidden amongst the rocks, and diverse reef fish adding color to the underwater landscape.
