About this dive site

This dive site, Punta Argentina, is widely considered one of the most exceptional locations for diving in this region. It offers a diverse underwater experience with depths ranging from 40 to 82 feet (20 to 25 meters). The area is teeming with marine life – you can frequently encounter large schools of fish and even a small cave, just big enough for a baby shark to seek refuge. Punta Argentina is renowned for its abundance of species, including sharks, schooling fish, seahorses, rays, and more. A highlight is the opportunity to observe mantas, particularly during specific times of the year when conditions are favorable. For those interested in macro life, this site provides excellent encounters with clown shrimp, rays, and frogfish. The eastern channel offers shallow waters perfect for snorkeling.
