About this dive site
This dive site is located on the northern side of the Čiovo peninsula and offers access via boat or shore. The maximum depth reachable is approximately 12 meters, making it suitable for beginners. A fascinating historical feature of this location is a shipwreck from the Roman Empire, evidenced by numerous ancient amphorae discovered on the sandy seabed. The sandy bottom gradually slopes down to depths of 8-10 meters before transitioning into an area dominated by Posidonia groves. Divers frequently encounter fish inhabiting the seafloor and may also spot seahorses in this underwater environment.
