This dive site is the majestic wreck of the Austro-Hungarian passenger steamer SS Baron Gautsch, which sank in 1914. Often called the 'Titanic of the Adriatic,' it sits upright at 28-40m and is now a vibrant artificial reef. As a protected cultural monument, it is one of the most famous wreck dives in the Mediterranean.
