About this dive site

This dive site features the impressive wreck of the Taranto, an Italian WWII steamship also known as the Coal Wreck. Sunk in 1943 after hitting a mine, it now rests upright on a sandy bottom, offering a fantastic historical dive. The wreck is beautifully encrusted with colorful sponges and home to diverse Adriatic marine life, including conger eels and scorpionfish.
