About this dive site

This dive site is located on a beautiful reef in the middle Adriatic Sea, extending southward and perpendicular to the island of Orud. The reef spans over 200 meters in length and offers diverse underwater landscapes. The top of the reef ranges from 3 to 8 meters deep. The western side features significant drops reaching up to 60 or even 80 meters, while the eastern side slopes more gently. Large meadows of posidonia seaweed grow along the eastern edge. This ridge is rich in flora and fauna; in some areas, archaeologists have discovered pottery remnants dating back to antiquity, which are now integrated into the reef structure. The walls of the reef are characterized by numerous holes, gaps, and small tunnels—a haven for a variety of fish species and other marine life.
