About this dive site

This dive site features the "Ribolovac", a popular wreck located off the island of Šolta, near Split. It’s easily accessible by speedboat – approximately a 20-30 minute ride. The wreck rests at a depth ranging from 13 to 22 meters, with the shallowest point at 13 meters. Measuring around 15 meters in length and 5 meters wide, it was once a sizable fishing boat. Divers can still observe remnants of fishing equipment, including nets and gear, within the wreck’s structure. The location is remarkably close to shore – about 50 meters – ensuring clear visibility and minimal drift. Expect to encounter large schools of fish both around the wreck and in the adjacent shallower areas. Due to its interior, an underwater light is highly recommended for exploring its hidden compartments and observing the diverse marine life that calls it home.
