About this dive site

This dive site offers an exceptional experience in Curacao. It’s known for a drift dive that begins near Smokey’s and concludes at the picturesque Kathys Paradise, creating a unique ‘flying’ sensation as you move eastward. The location features immaculate coral formations – large, dense overhangs – leading to dramatic drop-offs. Excellent visibility contributes to a 360-degree underwater vista, promising an unforgettable dive for experienced divers. Sharks and stingrays are frequently observed in this area. This site has a rich history; originally known as Underwater Curaçao, it was established by the Dive Operator who later became Ocean Encounters. The operation was initially managed by Chris Richards, now the Curaçao Sea Aquarium Park Manager, signifying its evolution within the Peter Hughes Diving group.
