This dive site, known as Water Factory or Fisherman’s Wharf, is located directly in front of an old water factory in Curaçao. It features a healthy and vibrant shallow coral reef that gently slopes before transitioning into a distinct, shallow steep wall. Divers typically begin their exploration on the reef, observing its rich ecosystem, and then proceed towards the wall to discover crevices and different topographical features. There is no specific historical story provided for the dive site itself, but its location near an old industrial facility suggests a relatively undisturbed underwater environment.
The reef is characterized by a high diversity of hard corals, complemented by impressive large barrel sponges and distinctive orange elephant ear sponges. This healthy coral landscape supports abundant fish life, including frequently sighted porcupine fish, barracuda, spotted drum, and various species of angel fish. Lionfish are also commonly found, often hidden within the crevices and overhangs along the wall.

Its relatively shallow maximum depth of 19 meters and average depth of 9 meters, combined with a thriving reef and wall, make it highly appealing for all levels of scuba divers.
