About this dive site
This dive site, located north of Santa Cruz Island and characterized by an exposed rock formation, offers a unique diving experience. The seabed consists of both rocky and sandy areas, with intermediate currents present. A notable feature is a small cave – important to note that this is not a cave dive due to its limited access. The area supports a diverse marine ecosystem. You’ll often find white-tipped reef sharks resting within the cave. Nearby, a prominent pinnacle hosts an abundance of rays, including Galápagos sharks, turtles, vibrant corals, various reef fishes, barracudas, and a range of invertebrates. Black coral walls add to the visual appeal of this underwater landscape.
