About this dive site

This dive site, Middle Garden, is a large and sheltered bay located in Sharm el Sheikh. It's exceptionally protected from the elements, making it an ideal location for introductory dives or Discover SCUBA experiences. The underwater landscape features a fringing reef that slopes gently downwards between 2 and 3 meters to a sandy area. This sandy zone is dotted with small coral heads, providing a habitat for various marine creatures, including the blue spotted stingray. A main reef runs along the bay’s length, also sloping down into deeper waters, and is marked by several sandy ‘roads,’ which aid in navigation. The site offers a relaxing diving experience over the reef, with the possibility of observing passing marine life. Occasionally, this area can offer surprising encounters with large turtles, whale sharks, or manta rays – highlights often associated with local Sharm el Sheikh dive sites.
