About this dive site
This dive site, Ras Katy, is conveniently located as the first stop from Sharm el Mina’s main marina. Boats typically moor between a fringing reef and the impressive top of a large pinnacle that extends up to the surface – making it an accessible destination for both snorkelers and divers. The area features a sheltered sandy seabed nestled between these elements, teeming with vibrant life such as pairs of Goby and Shrimp. A prominent characteristic is the line of pinnacles running parallel to the reef plate. These formations are adorned with a variety of soft and hard corals. Be aware that currents can occasionally intensify, particularly in the corner heading towards Temple.
