Villa Koraffi

This dive site, Villa Koraffi, is located a short boat ride north of Port Ghalib, Egypt. It's known for its easy, shallow dives along the coast, making it ideal for beginners. Navigation is straightforward, following the reef's gentle slope. There's no particular historical significance associated with the site, but its accessibility and rich marine life makes it a popular spot for divers of all experience levels. The underwater landscape is dominated by a vibrant coral garden teeming with life. Divers can expect to encounter a wide variety of fish, including scorpionfish cleverly camouflaged amidst the coral. Eagle rays glide gracefully through the water column, while turtles are occasionally spotted grazing on the seabed. With luck, divers may even spot whitetip reef sharks or even dolphins. The best time to visit Villa Koraffi is during the warmer months, from April to October, when the water is calm and visibility is at its best. Water temperature is generally pleasant during this period. For freediving, it's recommended to go on calm days with good visibility.
