About this dive site

This dive site is the wreck of the Shockland, a cargo ship that sank in 1943 off the coast. Originally from the Netherlands and used by the Germans during World War II for transporting troops and supplies, the vessel lies upright and largely intact on the seabed. The wreck rests at a depth of approximately 68.5 meters (224.7 feet) and features cargo holds filled with cement bags and steel beams. It's a fascinating dive site teeming with marine life, including tom pot blennies, large schools of pollack and pouting, as well as crabs and lobsters.
