About this dive site

This dive site, known as Triangle, is characterized by its striking underwater rock formations. Divers navigate between three large rocks separated by a field of Posidonia seagrass. The layout of the rocks creates interesting swim-throughs and diverse habitats. The site's depth ranges from 15 to 35 meters, making it suitable for experienced divers comfortable with moderate currents.

The marine life at Triangle is rich and varied. Divers can expect to see colorful sponges and gorgonians adorning the rocks, providing a vibrant backdrop for the numerous fish species present. Sars and scorpionfish are commonly observed, along with a variety of other Mediterranean species. The Posidonia meadows themselves are also bustling with life, offering habitats for smaller invertebrates and fish.

The best time to visit Triangle is likely during the warmer months (May to October) when the water temperature is most pleasant and visibility is typically at its best. However, even during these months, divers should be prepared for moderate currents and ensure they have appropriate experience and equipment. Freedivers should avoid this site due to the depth and currents.
