Fafapiti

This dive site, Fafapiti, is renowned as one of Bora Bora's premier locations for observing the magnificent ballet of manta rays. The dive unfolds along a gentle drop-off, offering an incredibly easy and serene experience due to its shallow depths and lack of strong currents. It's a perfect site for divers of all experience levels, including beginners, to witness these majestic creatures up close as they frequent various cleaning stations. The star attractions at Fafapiti are, without a doubt, the manta rays. They can be seen revolving around the natural cleaning stations, allowing for easy and prolonged encounters. While mantas are the main draw, the cleaning stations also attract a variety of reef fish, and the drop-off itself would likely host a diverse range of corals and other smaller marine life typical of French Polynesian reefs. Fafapiti is generally suitable for diving year-round, with the dry season (May to October) often providing the best overall conditions for visibility and calm waters.
