This dive site offers a varied underwater experience. The lake’s bottom features both shallow areas and significant drop-offs, making it suitable for divers of different skill levels. Entrance 0, 1, 4a & 4b are particularly beneficial for beginners due to the abundance of shallow zones. Entrances 2 and 5 cater to more experienced divers as they reveal steeper underwater slopes alongside the shallower areas. Visibility typically ranges from 10 to 20 meters on average, although it can fluctuate significantly depending on weather conditions – optimal visibility is often found between Tuesday and Thursday. In favorable weather, visibility can reach up to 40 meters, while in poor conditions (such as strong winds or rain), it may drop to as low as 5-10 meters. The lake’s climate is semi-dry, with diving possible from April through November. A dry suit is recommended for year-round use, though ice formation is a rare occurrence, potentially happening every twenty years. Due to the varying topography and visibility conditions, it's best to check the weather forecast before your dive.
