About this dive site

This dive site is located in Geeste, near the border with Germany. It was constructed in the mid-1980s for the Lingen nuclear power plant. The reservoir covers 230 hectares and has a maximum depth of approximately 13 meters. The underwater environment includes species like bass, perch, pike and catfish. A practice platform is situated at around 4.5 meters, and various objects have been placed in the water to promote habitat development and protection. Facilities such as restrooms and a large terrace with views of the water are available.
