About this dive site
This dive site is located off the northeast part of Pserimos Island. It offers a fantastic diving experience, characterized by plateaus and drop-offs. Divers typically navigate in a circular route around the island. The initial portion of the dive involves traversing a ridge leading to a first drop-off, starting at approximately 20 meters and descending to around 50 meters. Visibility here can be good, allowing glimpses of schools of barracuda. Continuing along the bottom contour, you’ll encounter another ridge that drops off, providing an opportunity for gliding with the current through a plateau at 18 meters. Here, you may spot sea bream and occasionally a red sea star. Following the seabed upwards, you'll discover a large sandy patch surrounded by rock walls, culminating in a magnificent cave situated around 8 meters deep. The cave entrance is impressively sized – roughly 7 meters high and 5 meters wide. It stretches back approximately 25 meters, gradually decreasing in size as it goes deeper. The cave walls are adorned with orange coral and various sponges, creating an environment where scorpion fish often seek shelter in the shadows.
