About this dive site

This dive site, Kanapitsa, is located south of Panormos Beach. It offers a unique diving experience within a gulf environment. The depth ranges from 5 to 12 meters, with a rocky seabed creating an interesting underwater landscape. A prominent wall drops dramatically to 30 meters nearby. Divers can begin their descent approximately 5 meters deep, navigating towards the north side of the gulf and following an underwater river formed by the rocks – this river leads directly to the wall. As you descend alongside the wall at your planned depth, you'll have the opportunity to observe diverse marine life and appreciate the colorful rock formations that characterize the area. The location provides a fascinating combination of shallow depths and significant underwater features.
