About this dive site
This dive site is the Kyra Leni wreck, a popular dive spot in the southern part of an unnamed Greek island. The wreck lies on the seabed, oriented towards the island. The bow rests at a shallower 12 meters, while the deepest point reaches 29 meters. Divers should plan their descent and ascent carefully, paying attention to their depth and air supply. The wreck itself provides a fascinating underwater landscape for exploration.
The wreck is teeming with marine life. Divers can expect to see groupers, mullets, octopuses, crabs, shrimps, anemones, various shells, scorpionfish, sponges, and sea stars. This biodiversity makes it a rewarding dive for both macro and wide-angle photography.
The best time to visit is during the summer months (June-September) when the water is warmest and visibility is at its best. Strong currents are possible; divers should check local conditions before entering the water. This dive is not recommended for inexperienced divers, free divers or those who are uncomfortable with moderate currents or deeper dives.
