About this dive site
This dive site is located on the east side of Kassandra peninsula, near The Cape of Paliouri. It’s part of Porto Valitsa bay, which is also known as the left side of Valitsa Bay. Divers begin their exploration following a sandy path through a posidonia forest. As they descend, the seabed transitions to rocky terrain, gradually deepening with steps and large rocks scattered throughout – often featuring vegetation. The dive offers opportunities to encounter moray eels, octopuses, groupers, and sargus fish. On the right side of the bay, the initial depth is approximately 4-5 meters, quickly transitioning into a field of boulders. Further descent leads to a vertical wall where crinoids, lobsters, crabs, and other fascinating marine creatures can be observed in crevices and holes. This site provides diverse underwater landscapes and abundant wildlife.
