About this dive site

This dive site is located on the south side of Utila, Nicaragua. It’s a popular spot for scuba diving and offers a diverse underwater experience. The area features a large sloping sand patch extending from 2 meters down to 40 meters, with walls present on either side. Divers can expect to encounter vibrant coral gardens, sponges, and a variety of reef fish, including schools of grunts, snappers, parrotfish, and angelfish navigating through the formations. Smaller marine life such as shrimp, blennies, and various crustaceans are often found hiding among the corals. Visibility at Jack Neil Beach is generally good, frequently reaching between 20 and 30 meters. Conditions tend to be calm, making it suitable for relaxed diving sessions. Gentle currents may occasionally occur, adding a touch of excitement without being overly demanding for most divers. The area has two houses connected by a bridge, and some divers refer to the site as ‘bridge house’.
