About this dive site
Located in the Icelandic Highlands, the Tear of Odin is a newly found dive site. After parking on the roadside, you’ll have a bit of a walk to reach the lake, following the map. The walk itself is worth it—you’ll cross a small stream and wander over gentle hills shaped by old volcanic lava.
When you arrive, you’ll see a small lake with crystal-clear water. Getting in is easy, and once you’re underwater, the visibility is just as incredible as other dive sites in Iceland. The surrounding scenery makes it a beautiful spot both above and below the surface.
