About this dive site

This dive site is located just off the entrance to the shipping channel, northeast of Havelock. It features a cluster of coral outcrops that function as a cleaning station – a popular spot for marine life. The area offers a rich underwater environment with large stands of corals and rocks providing shelter. A variety of fish species thrive here, including butterflyfish, angelfish, bannerfish, garden eels, snappers, fusiliers, jewel fairy basslets, and surgeonfish, creating a vibrant water column. Small clusters of anemones sway gently in the current. Notably, there’s a chance to encounter the elusive Zebra or Leopard shark – a graceful sight for experienced divers. The dive depths range from 10 meters (approximately 30 feet) down to 22 meters (approximately 70 feet).
