Deep Turbo

This dive site, located on the north-east side of Gili Trawangan, offers an exciting underwater experience. The area is characterized by impressive gorges, ridges, and sea mounds, surrounded by a sandy bottom. Numerous overhangs and small caves provide shelter to a diverse array of marine life. Expect a variety of tropical reef fish, including frequent visitors like white tip reef sharks, barracuda, and even eagle rays. Magnificent soft and hard coral formations, featuring giant Gorgonian sea fans, dominate the landscape. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs – there’s a wide selection to be found! For those lucky enough to spot them, pygmy seahorses add to the charm. The average depth is 25 meters, though currents can be strong at times. This site is best suited for experienced divers.
