About this dive site
This dive site, Siladen Jetty, is located just outside a resort and frequently ranked among the top diving and snorkeling locations within Bunaken Marine Park. The area offers a diverse underwater experience with shallow reefs boasting pristine corals and deeper walls adorned with large sponges and gorgonians. A key feature is the abundance of anemones and associated clownfish – particularly vibrant on the reef tops. Consistent drift currents are typical, providing opportunities to observe various fish species swimming in the blue water. For keen observers, the wall might reveal ghost pipefish and a selection of rare nudibranchs. Cracks and small caves along the wall sometimes shelter juvenile reef sharks. It’s easily accessible from the resort, making it ideal for snorkelers seeking independent exploration.
