About this dive site
This dive site is located in Tonnara's bay, part of the Catarratta area. It’s considered a slightly more challenging dive compared to Secca di Cala Rossa due to its expansive nature and diverse features. The shoal begins at approximately 20 meters and extends down to 40 meters, offering multiple dive paths with unique characteristics. Notable highlights include formations of sea fans and the wall inhabited by lobsters, as well as the Ancorone area. Large pelagic fish such as snapper and amberjack are frequently encountered, along with groupers, moray eels, and congers. The site is also home to colonies of Gerardia Savaglia (false black coral) and abundant Red fan corals. This dive offers a varied and interesting underwater experience.
