This dive site, known as Arari, is celebrated for its dynamic and diverse underwater topography, prominently featuring the large offshore West Root and Horse Mackerel Root formations. Located a mere 5 minutes from the harbor, it offers convenient boat access, making it appealing even to those who may be apprehensive about longer boat journeys. The site's unique structure provides a complex yet fascinating environment for exploration, often leaving divers amazed at its richness, particularly for a location within Izu, Japan.

Arari is a vibrant hub for marine life, most notably stingrays, which are encountered with almost 100% certainty during early summer, often in impressive groups. Flying rays also make a remarkable appearance during this season. As autumn progresses, divers can observe kampachi and sunfish gracefully circling the offshore roots, alongside famous, large, motionless schools of snappers. The site also caters to macro enthusiasts, with seahorses, lionfish, and various small fish meticulously clinging to the walls.

The dive site exhibits distinct charms across all seasons, ensuring fresh discoveries with every visit. Early summer is prime for experiencing the spectacular stingray and flying ray congregations.
