This dive site, Ohoba No.1 Crevasse, is located off Iejima, a remote island north of Okinawa, accessed via a car ferry from Motobu Port. Primarily a boat dive, it features distinct underwater characteristics, transitioning from north to south. Divers navigate through domes, impressive crevasses, and along dramatic drop-offs, exploring varied topography. The site boasts an incredible array of marine life. Rare species like the giant flying fish, red-headed coral fish, and red-headed frogfish can be observed. Within the intricate domes and caves, divers will encounter goblins, red pine scorpionfish, turmeric clams, lobster pygmy goblins, and green pygmy goblins. Along the deep drop-offs, schools of flounder, spiny dogfish, and majestic Napoleon fish are common. Ohoba No.1 Crevasse offers a captivating experience for both divers and freedivers, with its maximum depth of 21 meters and an average depth of 10 meters making it accessible.
