This dive site, Sakuraguchi, is nestled in southern Ishigaki, Japan, offering convenient access just five minutes by boat from the local port. It benefits from natural shelter against northern winds, ensuring calm conditions throughout the year. The site boasts a gentle topography with depths ranging from 5 to 14 meters, making it easy to navigate and enjoyable for divers of all experience levels. The marine life here is abundant and diverse, featuring vibrant coral colonies that serve as home to colorful fish such as bigeye sunfish and various anemonefish, including clown fishes. Divers can spot unique species like sparrows, giant gobies, and the camouflaged leaf scorpionfish.
