About this dive site
This dive site, known as Triangle in Manazuru, Kanagawa, is a significant artificial reef created from a colossal steel frame. This structure, measuring 10m high and 50m wide, was intentionally sunk during the construction of the Iwa Ohashi Bridge. It now serves as a vibrant underwater ecosystem, offering diverse exploration opportunities around its massive framework.
Divers can expect to encounter large schools of snappers and horse mackerel, along with groupers and sea bass. The reef is adorned with colorful soft corals, providing a habitat for various macro life including seasonal nudibranchs.
The site is suitable for all diving levels, from beginners to experienced divers, and caters to both macro and wide-angle photography enthusiasts. While specific seasonal highlights aren't detailed, the presence of seasonal nudibranchs suggests varying macro opportunities throughout the year. Freedivers can also enjoy exploring the structure down to its average depth of 10 meters and beyond.
