This dive site is an indoor pool facility known as Zamrud, located just a 3-minute walk from Hon Atsugi Station in Japan. Designed primarily for specialized water training, it features both shallow and deep pool areas, reaching a maximum depth of 3 meters. The facility provides convenient amenities including a spacious parking area and a nearby convenience store, making it easily accessible for divers. As an artificial indoor pool environment, there are no natural marine animals or plants present at the Zamrud dive site. The focus here is solely on diver training and confined water skills development, rather than marine life observation. The facility operates in scheduled shifts, typically starting at 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., with reservations available for up to 5 hours; checking the specific daily schedule in advance is recommended. It accommodates groups of 3-5 people, and swimming caps are mandatory for competitive swimming. Divers can also utilize equipment washing stations and relax in a Jacuzzi after their training sessions.
