This dive site, Pulau Rawa, offers an amazing underwater experience off the pristine sandy beaches of Malaysia. Divers can easily access the site from the shallow beach entry. Further out, the topography changes to rocky outcrops and large boulders, creating interesting swim-throughs and channels for exploration.
The site boasts a vibrant hard coral reef system, interspersed with beautiful sea fans growing in the channels. Black Corals are also found in clusters on the boulders, providing habitat for various reef fish and smaller invertebrates.
Pulau Rawa is suitable year-round, but the dry season (typically April to October) offers the best conditions with calm waters and optimal visibility. It's an excellent spot for beginner divers, snorkelers, and freedivers due to its shallow depths and protected environment.
