This dive site is Sipadan, a unique oceanic island located in Malaysia. Rising 600 meters (2,000 feet) from the seabed, it’s situated off the east coast of Sabah. The island's formation is remarkable – it developed over thousands of years through the growth of living corals on top of an extinct volcanic cone. Sipadan offers exceptional diving opportunities due to its diverse marine life and stunning underwater landscapes. It is known for incredible visibility, allowing divers to explore vibrant coral reefs and a wide array of fish species. The island’s location within the Celebes Sea contributes to an abundance of marine biodiversity.
