Fenfushi South

This dive site, Fenfushi South, is a popular drift dive located in the channel between the islands of Maamunagaa and Fenfushi in the Maldives. Divers typically start on a deeper thila, then navigate along a route that features nice overhangs adorned with soft corals. The optimal conditions involve a current flowing from east to west, which allows for an exhilarating drift, feeling like you're flying. The site offers excellent opportunities to encounter a variety of large pelagic species, including sharks, stingrays, nurse sharks, and eagle rays. Napoleon wrasse are also frequently sighted. The topography includes vibrant soft corals on the overhangs, contributing to a rich and biodiverse marine environment.
